    Essential Duties

    Please note this position is designed for 2019 graduates to begin in June/July 2019. The Real Estate Finance and Investments practice group is looking for a full time, entry level paralegal. They will assist attorneys in all stages of real estate transactions, closings and with the preparation of documents necessary to comply with federal, state and local regulations in the conduct of business activities.

     

    Position Overview:

    • Manage and assist with the closing of various transactions, including preparation, coordination and organization of closing binders
    • Work directly with attorneys and clients during due diligence and closing of transactions
    • Assist attorneys to index, organize documents, correspondence, memorandums, attorney notes
    • Duplicate and redact documents
    • Draft memos regarding the status of projects

    • Four year college degree
    • Self-motivated and detail oriented
    • Ability to work well in a team environment
    • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
    • Must be available to work overtime
    • Preference will be given to candidates who plan to or have taken the LSAT and plan to attend law school within the next 2 to 3 years
